These Rules and Regulations, framed by the Management Committee and as amended from time to time, governs all Members and their Family and Guests.
The Management Committee reserves the right to amend these Rules and Regulations at any time at its sole discretion.
All terms used in these Rules and Regulation which are not specifically defined herein shall have the same meaning herein as set forth in the Membership Plan.
Heading in the Rules and Regulations are for ease of reference only and shall not be taken into account in their interpretation. The hours and days of operation of all the club facilities are subject to change at the discretion of the Management Committee. Club Facilities will open and close at different hours depending on the season and planned activities. Hours and days of operation will be posted on the Club bulletin board.
Members must not send any employee of the Club out of the premises for any reason or request special personal services from the employees of the Club, who are on duty.
Members and their Guests are not allowed to abuse, reprimand, or discipline any of the Club’s employees, verbally or otherwise. Complaints in writing of all deficiencies in service or demeanor of any employee will receive immediate attention of the Manager of the club.
Slow, unsatisfactory or improper service should be immediately reported to the Manager Golf Operations or any other manager so designated so that the service issues if any, may be satisfactorily resolved.
No dogs or other pets are allowed on the Club premises.
Smoking and consumption of alcohol is permitted only in designated areas.
The Management Committee reserves the rights to prohibit any games, sports or other activities which it may, in its discretion, find consider unsuiatble to the members, guests and the Club.
Parking of vehicles within the Club premises is strictly regulated.
Firearms including all types of ammunition and all weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited within the Club premises.
The Club is under no obligation to furnish a roster or list of Members of the Club to any Member.
The Club will not be responsible for any damage or loss to the personal property including valuables of a Member and guests.
Violation of any of these rules or conduct in a manner prejudicial to the best interests of the Club will subject the person in violation to disciplinary action in accordance with the Membership Plan and Rules and Regulations of the Club.
A photo membership card indicating a membership number and category of membership will be issued to the Members as well as his Family. Membership cards are not transferable. Loss of the card should be reported immediately to the control Desk at the Proshop.
Upon request, membership cards should be available for presentation at the point of sale for all transactions and also at the point of use of the Club Facilities.
The settlement of dues arising out of the sale of merchandise, provision of service related to consumption of food and beverage, or of any other service shall be settled either by cash or through the medium of an approved valid credit card by quoting the membership number.
Each Member and his Family, as a condition of membership, and each Guest as a condition of invitation to the Club Facilities, assumes sole responsibility for his or her property. The Club shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any private property used or stored on the premises of the Club.
Property or furniture belonging to the Club shall not be removed from the room in which it is placed or from the Club premises, without proper authorization. Members and their guests shall be liable for any property damage and/or personal injury at the club. The cost of damage shall be charged to Member’s account.
Members and their Guests are not allowed to place any decorations on walls, doors or ceilings of the Club.
Any Member, his/her Family, his/her Guest or any other person who, in any manner, makes use of, or accepts the use of, any apparatus, appliance, facility, privilege or service whatsoever owned, leased or operated, organized, arranged or sponsored by the Club, either on or off the Club’s premises, shall do so at his/ her own risk.
In the event of any personal injury to any person or any damage or destruction to any property belonging to the Club or any other person due to the acts or omissions of any Member, his/her Family or Guest, such Member shall be jointly and severally liable for any claims arising out of such injury or damage.
In the event of any claim or demand made by a third party against the Club for such personal injury or damage or destruction of property, the Member shall indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, officers, affiliates, employees, representatives and agents against such claim or liability or on any account to the extent arising under any judgments, orders, settlements, actions, demands or proceedings.
Should any Member bring any suit against the Company for any claim or matter and fails to obtain judgment therein, the Member shall be liable to the Company for all costs and expenses incurred by the Company in the defense of such suit, including reasonable attorney’s fees.
Outside catering is not permitted. All food and beverage consumed on the Club premises must be furnished by the Club unless it has been specifically exempted by the Manager Golf Operations or any other manager so designated.
Employees of the Club are permitted to deliver food or beverages only to designated locations of the Club.
Children under eight (8) years of age are not allowed in the Clubhouse unless accompanied by an adult.
It is expected that Members and Guests will choose to dress in a fashion befitting the surroundings and atmosphere provided in the setting of our Club and be appropriately attired. Gentlemen golfers are requested to keep their T Shirt tucked in all the times while on the course.
Shirts, shoes or sandals with a back strip must be worn at all times at the Club premises, Golf Shoes may only be worn in identified areas and the Golf Course / locker rooms.
Visitors must not sleep in the lounge or place their feet on the furniture at the Club house/ members’ area.
Metal spikes are not allowed.
No Member shall give the address of the Club in any advertisement or otherwise use the Club premises for conducting any business.
Commercial, political or religious advertisements shall not be posted or circulated in the Club.
Petitions shall not be originated, solicited, circulated or posted on any property of the Club.
The Rules and Etiquette as adopted by the U.S.G.A (United States Golf Association) and R&A (Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews) shall be the rules of the Club. The local rules are indicated on the Score Card and the Starter’s Bulletin Board.
All Members and approved Guests must register at the Control Desk in the Proshop upon arrival to play Golf and report to the starter on all days before beginning play. The Control Desk at the Proshop will issue the proper authorization slips to be presented to the caddy master, practice range attendant and the starter.
The caddy master will be in charge of issuing caddies and Golf carts. The starter will control the play on the Signature Course.
“Cutting-in” is not permitted at any time. All players must check in from the Proshop and play is to begin only on #1 & #10 Tee of Ridge & Valley and #1 Tee of Canyon. Under no circumstances players are permitted to start the play from any other hole.
Practice is not allowed on the Golf Course. Players should not have more than one ball in play at any time. The Practice facility and Practice Putting Greens should be used for all practice.
If a four-ball or other group of players fail to keep their pace of play on the course, they must allow the following group to play through.
All players who stop temporarily during the play for any reason, must occupy the next Tee before the following players arrive at the Tee or they will loose their position on the Golf Course and must get permission from the Pro Shop to resume play.
All golfers are expected to repair pitch marks on greens, replace divots , rake sand traps and place trash in containers provided on the Golf Course either themselves or through the caddie.
The sale of Golf balls by unauthorized persons on the Golf Course & Club premises is not allowed at any time.
Golf marshals may be on duty to help regulate the play and enforce Golf cart and caddy regulations. The Golf marshals shall have full authority on the Golf Course to enforce all the rules. Slow play will not be permitted.
Each player on the course must have his own set of Golf clubs.
Appropriate Golf attire is required for all players.
If there is lightning in the area, all play shall be suspended.
The Golf Course superintendent has complete authority to open and close the course to play, and permit Golf carts on the Course at his discretion and his decision in this matter will be final.
In order to provide the utmost playing pleasure for all members and their guests, the Club reserves the right, from time to time, to modify or establish different rules governing access to the Golf Course.
Jogging or recreational walking is not permitted on the Golf Course.
No food & beverages coolers are permitted on the Golf Course unless supplied by the Club.
Single or two ball may play on week days, however, priority will be given to a three or four ball. Single or two ball group will not be permitted on weekends, unless permitted by the club authority
A two ball and singles will be grouped with other players, if available.
Special events designated by the Classic Golf & Country Club will take preference over normally scheduled tee times when considered appropriate by the Management Committee.
Caddies come under the direction of the caddy master who will administer Club rules pertaining to caddies, as may be amended from time to time.
The charges for caddies and fore-caddies will be set by the Club at its sole and absolute discretion
The charge for a playing caddy will be set by the Club at its sole and absolute discretion.
Any complaint against caddies and fore-caddies must be made to the caddy master / Golf Operations Team, as soon as possible after the occurrence.
The hours of play and Pro Shop hours be posted in the Pro Shop and opening hours will remain flexible and will normally be determined by demand and daylight hours.
All players must have starting times reserved through the Control Desk at the Proshop. The staff shall assign the starting time depending on availability.
Members may make tee time reservations in accordance with their membership classification.
Starting times may be made in person or by phone during Proshop’s operation hours as may be posted from time to time.
Players/Members must give their name and membership number along with the contact detail at the time of reservation.
Starting time changes must be approved by the Control Desk at the Proshop.
Failure to check in and register fifteen minutes prior to a reserved starting time may result in cancellation or reassignment.
Players should notify the Control Desk at the Pro Shop of any cancellation. Players who fail to cancel their tee time 48 hours prior to their scheduled tee time may be charged a fee determined by the Club from time to time.
The practice facility is open during normal operating hours as may be posted from time to time in the Pro Shop.
Range balls are for use at the practice facility only. Range balls are not permitted on the Golf Course.
Each player using the practice facility may obtain range balls at the range upon presentation of a receipt for usage of range balls, purchased in the Pro Shop.
Golf Carts are not permitted on the tee areas and greens. Parking of Golf Carts is allowed in designated areas only.
Balls must be hit from designated areas only. No hitting is permitted from the rough or sides of the driving range.
Proper Golf attire is required at all times at the practice facility.
Golf carts cannot be used off the Golf Course.
Only two players, two sets of Golf clubs and one caddy are permitted per Golf cart.
Members must obey all Golf cart traffic signs and use the Golf cart paths near tees and greens. When the ninety degree rule is posted, Member and Guests must cross fairway only at right angles.
Cart must not be driven beyond designated markers on the Golf Course.
Except on cart paths, carts may not be driven, within thirty feet of a green, a tee or a bunker.
Golf carts are not to be driven through a hazard.
Soft areas to be avoided on fairways, especially after rains. Roughs to be used wherever possible.
Operation of the Golf cart is at the risk of the Member or his Guest. The Cost of repair to a Golf cart which is damaged by a Member or his Guest will be charged to Member. The liability of the Golf cart including its accessories, accident and / any physical damage during use is to be borne by the operator.
The Member or Member’s Guest using a Golf cart accepts and assumes all responsibility for liability connected with operation of the Golf cart.
One caddy must be employed by the Member for each motorized Golf Cart.
Violations of Golf cart rules may result in the suspension of playing privileges.
Handicaps are computed under the supervision of the Golf Operations department of the Club, in accordance with the current Handicap System.
All Members with an approved handicap may participate in Club “Member Only” tournaments. Members and Guests who participate in Club “Open” tournaments must have an approved handicap. All handicaps submitted may be reviewed by the Manager Golf Operations.
To establish a handicap, a Member must have turned in a minimum of five scores. Members are responsible for turning in all their scores on a daily basis. Any Member failing to turn in a score will result in a score being posted that is equal to their lowest score on record.
Appropriate tennis/squash attire shall be required at all times.
Courts will be closed when necessary for maintenance operation, when dictated by safety consideration or for adverse weather condition as determined by the Management. When tennis court net is lowered, it indicates that the court is under repair. Walking or playing on the court at this time is prohibited.
All tennis/squash players and guests must register prior to play at the Control Desk at the Proshop
Reservations must be scheduled by the individual who wishes to play and not by one member on behalf of another. Reservations may be scheduled by spouse or secretary. A minimum of two names must be given with any reservation.
While courts are available, reservations will be accepted for singles and doubles play for one and a half hour period for Tennis and half an hour for squash. Those who have played for one and a half hour of Tennis and half an hour of squash may not play, individually or collectively, during the next ½ hour time period. The player must, however, check in at the Control Desk at the Proshop and put their name on standby for a subsequent time period.
Specific court reservations are assigned when players arrive for play.
Failure to register within 15 minutes of your reserved court time will result in forfeiture of your court reservation.
Courts shall be surrendered immediately so as not to infringe upon the time of others.
Adults have priority over junior players for Court reservation.
Pets and non-playing children are not permitted in the court enclosures.
Members and Guests are urged to familiarize themselves with the rules of tennis / squash etiquette.
No person shall cross another court while a point is in play, but shall wait until the point is over.
When retrieving a ball from another court, please wait until the point is over prior to asking players to get the ball.
Loud or quarrelsome conduct or profanity is prohibited.
No person shall distract or interfere with players while a match is in progress.
